Privacy Policy and Terms of Access

Please read and understand the following so that you're familiar with how we handle our users' data, as well as what you agree to as a user of our website.

Privacy Policy

  1. Purpose:This privacy policy (“Policy”) pertains to the website (“Site”) managed by Fulin Motor Works Co., Ltd, doing business under the brand Paka (“us”, “we”, “our”, “the Company”).  Its purpose is to communicate the guidelines under which we respect and protect users’ privacy while they interact with our Site.  This policy only applies to the Site and does NOT apply to other sites that may be accessed from our Site.  This policy, to the degree possible, also applies to data collected through our social media channels such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube collectively referred to as “Social Media”.

  2. Data Collection and Usage:

    1. Direct Data Collection: Data is collected in cases where users directly enter information into fields on our Site or Social Media such as, but not limited to, their name, contact information, comments, and inquiries. .  This information will generally be stored in association with the user’s name/identity.  This data is collected for the following purposes:

      1. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

      2. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

      3. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

      4. To facilitate sales, returns, refunds, and other transaction related matters.

    2. Automatic Data Collection: This data, by nature, is anonymous and is NOT associated with any personal information.  Instead, it is associated with users’ IP addresses (the online address of your internet access point at that moment in time).  This data typically includes the device type, operating system, browser type, and the city where the IP address is located.  It is generally analyzed in aggregate rather than on an individual basis.  It is gathered for the purposes of understanding how many users are accessing the Site and geographic areas they are accessing the site from.  We may partner with other companies, organizations, and advertisers who require access to this data in order to understand the impact of their content on our Site.  Again, this data does not contain personal information.

    3. Third-Party Data Collection

      1. Payments: If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor such as PayPal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by PayPal, our service provider.

      2. Social media: if you choose to link, create, or log in to your User Account with a social media service (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), we collect your permission to access certain information from your profile via that social media service. We include links to social media platforms. These third-party services may collect identifiers from you or information about your IP address and which page you’re visiting on our Sites, and they may set cookies for the purposes the third-parties have described in their privacy policies. Your interactions with those features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them, and not by this Privacy Policy. If you post or if you engage with a separate social media service or interact with us on our page with any social media service, we may collect Personal Information about you related to those interactions.

    4. Cookies: Like most websites, our Site uses tools such as Google Analytics that place “cookies” onto users’ hard drives.  Cookies are small pieces of data stored in a site visitor's browser. They are typically used to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken on a site.  These will be used to enhance users’ website experience as well as to help us understand how they interact with our Site.  If you choose, cookies can be disabled via your internet browser or other software.  We may also make use of cookies that are generated by Social Media sites to understand how users are interacting with our site.

    5. Contacting Users:

      1. Necessary Communications: We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, or as otherwise necessary to satisfy applicable national laws, and any agreement(s) we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, social media and postal mail.  

      2. Optional Communications:  If you have opted in to marketing communications, we may contact you from time to time to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, or to send updates about our Company and Products. If you do not want to be contacted for any promotional or non-essential reasons, you may opt out at any time either directly through the opt-out function included in those communications or by contacting us through the information shared on the Site.

  3. Data Management and Sharing

    1. Storage and Security of Information: Our Company’s Site is hosted on the Wix.com platform. The platform allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

    2. Sharing of Information: We do not share personal information with any third parties with the exception of those fundamental to our ability to serve you such as billing and direct communication services.  Personal information can also be shared when required by law. 

    3. Security of Data Disclaimer: The Company uses secure channels to transmit personal information and works with trusted companies to handle personal information.  However, there is no such thing as absolute security.  For this reason, we cannot make or imply any guarantee that personal information will never be revealed to unintended parties.

    4. Sale of Information: The Company does not sell any information collected from Site users.

    5. Withdrawal of Consent:  Users may request a copy of the personal information we have collected about them and may also request that we delete any personal information that has been collected about them.  In cases where personal information is linked to online content that we manage, your information will be pseudonymized so that it no longer correlates with your personal information.

    6. Questions: If there are any questions regarding this policy, Users should contact our Company through the information provided on this Site.

  4. Changes: The Company will make changes to this Policy from time to time.  A record of changes is contained below.  It is the responsibility of the Site user to check these changes and to ensure that they continue to agree with its contents.

  5. Policy on Children: We do not market to children nor intend to collect data on any person younger than the age of 13.  If we discover that such information has been provided to us, collected advertently, or collected inadvertently, it will be deleted as immediately as practically possible.

Terms of Access and Use

The following terms of access and use (“Terms”) pertain to the website (“Site”) managed by Fulin Motor Works Co., Ltd, doing business under the brand Paka (“us”, “we”, “our”, “the Company”).  By accessing our Site you automatically accept the following Terms.  If you do not agree to the following Terms, then you may not utilize our Site.  Your acceptance of these Terms is renewed every time that you access our Site.  It is your responsibility to review these Terms on a regular basis to ensure that you’re aware of any changes.

  1. Use of Site: By your acceptance of these terms, we grant you permission to use this Site for the purpose of acquiring information and interacting with the Company.  The contents of the Site are owned by the Company and may not be copied or downloaded for any commercial purpose without Company consent.

  2. Changes to Site: We reserve the right to change and update this Site from time to time to reflect changes in our business and information we wish to communicate to our customers.  These changes shall include the addition and removal of content as well as products and services that are being offered.  These changes will be conducted at our discretion and without prior or subsequent notification of users.

  3. Disclaimer: The contents of this Site are shared in a good faith effort to provide useful, accurate, safe, and helpful information to Site visitors.  However, we make no guarantees, expressed or implied, that the information present on the Site is error-free or is entirely accurate under your specific situation or conditions.  The Site’s contents cannot be interpreted as legal or professional advice and therefore should not be used to expressly inform choices regarding your personal safety or financial or legal well-being.  There may be instances where content, products, or services are added or removed that change or contradict information previously shown on the Site.  Your use of this Site is at your risk.  The Company shall not be held accountable for any damages, whether perceived or measurable, that result from these changes.

Access: We do not guarantee your access to this Site.  You acknowledge that portions of this Site, its functions, or the site itself may become unavailable for numerous reasons both outside of our control as well as including direct actions by the Company.  The Company shall not be held liable for any of the impacts of such outages.

Children: The Company does not market to children.  In such cases that children under the age of 13 are referenced in text or images on this site, it should not be interpreted as an endorsement or recommendation that children should interact with the Company’s products as operators or passengers.

  6. Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Taiwan ROC.
